I went into last night’s show with low expectations because of the mixed reviews I had received from others. I missed most of the opening band Diamonds Under Fire so I can’t say much about their performance. What I can tell you is that Uh Huh Her put on a fantastic show last night in Montreal. I felt as though they were a bit timid at first, only playing with not much movement but that changed quickly. Leisha Hailey danced around Camila Grey and was practically on the floor at one point, it was amazing. They sounded perfect, the crowd was responsive and I really loved how appreciative they were. I have never heard a band say thank you so many times. They played a mix of new and old; Black and Blue to Explode, Never the Same to Not A Love Song. At the end of the show myself and a few friends actually met both Leisha and Camila which made our night. Overall, if you listen to Uh Huh Her get yourself to one of their shows.
